The start of June saw 26 budding volunteers from Bibby Offshore take part in the Aberdeen KiltWalk, for children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent.
The 26 mile route took our volunteers from Duthie Park in the centre of Aberdeen, along the River Dee to the finish line in Potarch. Although the event name may suggest a nice gentle stroll for a Sunday afternoon, the challenging route in unusually warm weather conditions meant this was not going to be as easy as perhaps first thought.
Everyone put in a fantastic effort to raise £3,722 for this great cause which can make a real difference to sick children dealing with cancer. Well done to everyone that took part and to those that volunteered to marshal the event.
