Lee Mockridge from mhl Support in Newcastle-under-Lyne and a group of 22 volunteers, completed the Potteries Half Marathon in June. £1,500 was raised through friends and family sponsoring Lee along with bucket collections made during the 13.1 miles. All funds are being matched and donated to The Dove Services, who works across Staffordshire and South Cheshire providing support and counselling to those struggling with bereavement, life-changing illness, and loss. Lee helped organise volunteers on the day, contacting the local radio station, bucket collections and accompanying a Dove Services employee who dressed in a full Camel suit to complete the marathon!
