Cambodia Team Leave a Lasting Legacy!

ActionAid Cambodia Project 2013 (35)

18 employees from across 6 of our diverse businesses completed their section of a library build at the end of October (2013)  for the Trapieng Por School in the Siem Reap province of Cambodia.

The team also raised over £32,500 for ActionAid in the process, an impressive donation which will see projects like this one continue to receive vital support.

Focusing on laying the foundations for the library, the group did a fantastic job throughout the week, progressing the project better then anyone ever expected!

With the chance to spend time with the pupils at the school as well as meeting their families and the local community, the team couldn't have asked for a better first hand experience of such beautiful people and their culture.

“The build was quite honestly the best, most worthwhile thing I have ever done. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough to people.” Julia Harte Bibby Offshore Aberdeen.
