A new face has arrived through our doors as we welcome Heather de Groot to Bibby Line Group as our new Community Programme Co-ordinator. 

Heather will be driving forward the ‘Giving Something Back’ Community Programme with all our people, supporting and developing it further to maximise participation and feedback. 

Although Heather is new to the company, she has previously worked with Charities Trust, who administers all matched funding for the ‘Giving Something Back’ programme.  She has also worked as a Volunteer Events Co-ordinator for the charity Fairbridge in Merseyside, part of the UK charity Fairbridge. Bibby Line Group sponsors their training ship, ‘Spirit’ which supports young people in their personal development. 

Heather jumped on board our May sail aboard ‘Spirit’, showing great enthusiasm, climbing the mast and even braving the North Sea with a swim with fellow employees, splashing into her new role!  

Her previous experience means Heather has great ideas for fundraising and getting employees involved. She is excited about what we have in store for our central calendar of events and looks forward to supporting employees individual fundraising events around the Group.

We wish Heather lots of luck in her new role and hope to see her sail forward within the business!
