Lisa Watson (pictured centre with friend Tina Hart and daughter Lily) from System Training in Middlesbrough gave birth to her daughter just 23 weeks into her pregnancy. Lily Mae weighed just 1lb 4oz and was very fragile. Despite a lot of ups and downs and 17 weeks in hospital, Lily is now a happy 15lb baby who is doing really well. Lily has exceeded the expectations of the medical staff at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough and her proud parents, Lisa and a Mark. In order to show her gratitude Lisa ran the Middlesbrough 10k Run and also arranged a charity night during September and raised over £3,000 for the Neonatal Unit where Lily was taken care of. Once Bibby Line Group applies the match funding over £5,000 will be sent to the Unit.
There is a team of ten running for the North West Air Ambulance in the London Marathon this year. If you have a place and want to join Team Bibby then get in touch.
