A BDL Bicester team took part in a Charity Football day, which consisted of an eleven a side match against a local rival team, followed by a 4 team 9 a side tournament consisting of non playing teams.

It was organised by Peter Reeves from the site who works on the Babcock contract.  The Ryan Lord Memorial Cup day has been staged for the last 5 years by Kidlington Old Boys Football Club, where Peter is the chairman. In memory of the team’s sponsors son.

During the day there was also a BBQ, bar, face and nail painting, penalty shoot out, gold chipping contest, and raffle.

The Bicester Park Team, Rick’s Rouges entered the contest for a 3^rd year, and reached the final where they were narrowly beaten.

The Team is from the front left Jason Reilly Team Leader, Ricky Godin, Senior Supervisor and Aaron Buckingham, Temp, Back line from the Left Kevin, Andy Gould, Warehouse Supervisor Alex Stojkouski, Driver, Paul Buckingham, Warehouse Supervisor and Adam Cooper, Transport Admin.

Every year the Sponsor’s family chooses a charity to benefit from the charity football day, this years Charity was the local Kaleidoscope Children’s centre. The day raised a grand total of £537.00 which will be match by Bibby Line Group up to £1,074.00.
