Crowds flocked to Chiltern Woodland Burial Park this weekend (13th- 14th Aug), for the Working Woodland Event.
Families enjoyed the café in the woods for tea, coffee and cakes, all donations went to Bucks, Berks and Oxon Wildlife Trust, watched Falconry displays, participated in Butterfly conservation and woodland walks.
Jacobs sheep grazed peacefully in the sunshine, watching their wool being woven by the talented David Wasley.
Amongst the many exhibitors were Berks and South Bucks Bat Group, Emlyn Budds Woodcarver, The Forestry commission and many more.

Jez Perkins and Kate Harris said they were delighted that all had enjoyed the woodlands, and how inspiring it was to show people how woodland is maintained with displays of high level tree felling, mobile sawmill and den building.
Over 1,600 visitors came to the Park over the weekend, with many families saying it was a joy to visit with free parking, free events and family friendly.
Chiltern Woodland Burial Park is a Place to Celebrate Life and is open daily..Mon-Fri 8.30 -4.30 and Sat-Sun 9.30-4.30.
The team at the Park also completed a series of concerts called Music in the Woodlands; the first event took place in May, with the last on the August 21st.

The concerts were to raise the profile and awareness of Soundabout a local children’s charity based in Aylesbury Buckinghamshire.
Soundabout is a small national charity that has found a way to unlock the world of music, sound and movement for young people with severe disabilities.
Chiltern have raised a total of £3,400 for Soundabout (with match funding from Bibby Line Group).
There is a team of ten running for the North West Air Ambulance in the London Marathon this year. If you have a place and want to join Team Bibby then get in touch.
Fundraising doesn’t just have to be about sponsored events and cake sales! There are many challenge events you can take part in that allow you to complete a personal challenge whilst raising funds for your favourite charity.
