Chris Furlong (pictured on the left with St Joseph head teacher Mr Gleeson) from BDL in Elland held an Easter Extravaganza, where by all the pupils at the St Joseph R.C Primary School were invited to design their own Easter Eggs, There were two winners from each class, each receiving a chocolate egg.

The children paid £1 per egg to enter and they could enter as many eggs as they wanted. Chris helped raised £500 in total to be matched.

Most recently Chris has also helped organise the first Summer fair at the school for seven years. The children were invited to bring in toys to sell. The parents were invited to send in food and chocolate and they had a few fair games that the children could play on and win prizes. In total Chris helped to raised £1000 to be match from this event.
The moneys raised will be going towards an outside building for the children to use at playtime if it is raining and a few sheltered tables and chairs.
