Guy Warmoth (pictured top right) from BDL in Biggleswade helped to show his support for life long friend Greg Hall who along with wife Sarah are beneficiaries of The Willow Foundation, which was founded in 1999 to support seriously ill 16 – 40 year olds throughout the UK, helping them gain quality time with loved ones through trips, days out etc.
Greg was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in 2001 and The Willow Foundation has given both him and his family that extra support and positive boost which is welcomed during ‘hospital life’.
Guy helped to raise an extra £1,000 in June to be matched when the foundation held a Summer Soiree at a friend’s home. Guy organised an auction at the event which saw the likes of a helicopter ride for 4, tickets to watch Tottenham v Arsenal and two apartments in Spain for a week being some of the prizes! – The whole event in total raised £10,000!
