Bibby Tetrosyl V's Bibby Elland…

The War Of The Roses - Bibby Tetrosyl playing in Red for Lancashire / Bibby Elland playing in White for Yorkshire : The game was organised between Chris Furlong, Jimmy Quigley, Joan Kelly of BDL in Elland and Karen Ramsbottom of BDL/ Tetrosyl.

The game was played at Heywood Sport Village where Tetrosyl turned out resounding victors 11-1. A great turn out by supporters from both sides who cheered the game from the side lines. Special thanks to Kirstie Reader for refereeing the game and to Mary McFadden for being their First Aider.

Later refreshments were served at The Heywood thanks to Justin Ashton who proved an excellent host, with a specially decorated function room and a fabulous buffet, DJ and the raffle took place. It was a real family occasion with over 90 people turning up to watch and was covered in some detail by the local newspaper The Heywood Advertiser.  

Trophy’s were presented to the winning team, Bibby / Tetrosyl.  Also presented was the 'Man of the match' award for Bibby Elland - Jimmy Furlong & 'Man of the Match' award for Bibby/ Tetrosyl - Jay Eccles. A great day and a fantastic turn out, thank you to all who donated/bought raffle tickets and supported the event  and made this day a wonderful success.
