Katie Brooks from Garic in Bury jumped into her new Community Champion role and help arrange a Garic team to get involved in the Barclays Zero to Hero Corporate 5 a side tournament at the Soccerdome (Trafford Centre) in aid of Fairbridge Uk.

There were 40 teams competing who were made up of Barclay’s Corporate customers. It started with 10 groups of 4 teams with the winner of each group and the 6 best runners up progressing to knock out stages until eventually it reached the final were Garic played BDO to win the event.
Trophies were presented by the head of Barclays Corporate and members of Fairbridge.

In the process of their success the teams raised £175 which will be matched for Fairbridge Uk.
