Luke Froude from the BFS Construction office in Banbury completed ‘Finnley’s Day’ in memory of his baby son who passed away last year.  Finnley was born 12 weeks premature, weighting just 1lb 4oz and with the help of the Neonatal Intensive Care unit in the hospital he was kept, Finnley spent 4 very special months with his parents and weighed 7lb 4oz when he sadly passed away.  

A massive thank you has to be said to all that donated, helped on the day and came and supported the event with prizes for the draw!   Finnley’s day raised an incredible £6,489.96 – a huge amount that Luke and his family can’t thank everyone enough for.  

Half of the remaining donated items have been dropped at local charity shops (Katherine house, British heart foundation, Oxfam). The other half has been placed in storage at a local unit owned by parents of another premature baby who was born on the same day as Finnley. The items will be used to raise further funds for SSNAP, a charity who support sick newborns and their parents, over the coming year.
