Cheryth Klavin from Costcutter in York ran a coffee shop in her local church – the Costcutter business also helped to contribute everything needed to make sandwiches and refreshments. They had the parents making some fantastic homemade soups which proved very popular as it was a bitterly cold day!
Outside Cheryth ran a cake and gift stall, in total raising £645.50 and donated to the Friends of Bishopthorpe Junior School.

Vivky Lockie also from Costcutter in York received many thanks for her hard work in organising and running the successful ‘New Beginnings Winter Fair’ in aid of North Duffield School. It was a very well attended event with many different types of stalls run by both adults and some of the children from the school.
The event took place to support the opening of a new hall, with nearly all the school children and local community present. The event in total raised £466.10.
There is a team of ten running for the North West Air Ambulance in the London Marathon this year. If you have a place and want to join Team Bibby then get in touch.
