About the Giving Something Back Programme

The Giving Something Back programme is a unique initiative which aims to harness the passion of our people and contribute something back to the local communities in which we are involved, either personally or where we do business.

The programme aims to engage all of our employees by offering them support towards the fundraising and volunteering they engage in, for a chosen charity, cause of project at a local level.

The Giving Something Back programme was established after the success of the employee giving during the Bicentenary in 2007 and the company continues its commitment to supporting charitable causes and projects throughout the world.

A feature of this unique programme is that it is designed to support the culture we have created over the past 200 years of ‘Living our Values’.

The programme combines the ‘power of our people’ employed by the business to contribute something back to the local communities in which we live and work. We want to engage our people globally to support their own chosen good causes and projects locally, encouraging them to engage with each other to develop and progress projects which are fun, worthwhile, and not directly work-related.

Most of all we want our employees to enjoy being a part of the Giving Something Back programme.
